The Circus

On Saturday we went to the circus. And because I refuse to tote anything other than my large self anywhere these days, we didn't bring a real camera. In fact, I don't seem to ever have it anymore both because I hate keeping track of it and because I tire of trying to make my boys say "cheese" (in case you can't tell they don't like it either). But I figure documenting at least some of our fun outings is a must, so here's the best we got with the phone... don't let the stinky pictures fool you, we had a great time! Asher thought the clown trying to take over as ringmaster was great, and of course the tigers and elephants are always a hit. I had to marvel at the motorcycle dudes in the metal sphere-- seriously, 7 guys riding around upside down and no crashing?!

Western Days

Yesterday was Asher's Western Days celebration at school. Although it was lame that they still had to wear their uniform, Aunt Kinsey really came through with the few fine cowboy accessories he wore.

The Cabin

We spent Labor Day weekend at the most magical place on earth: Island Park, ID. Cabin time this year was limited to a measly weekend unfortunately, but we made the most of it. And aside from the prematurely crisp weather, it was sheer bliss. The boys loved hangin by the river, boating, riding 4-wheelers, playing in the sandbox, riding bikes, night games, and trips into West Yellowstone. Not to mention the added bonus of witnessing cousin Sisi's baptism right in front of our dock. Until next year.
