Memorial Weekend

Saturday we got to attend an open house for our very own Oquirrh Mountain Temple. It was the first time any of my children had been in a temple. Asher was very excited, Malcom was very rambunctious, and Violet was very tired. I was just happy to be there. Asher's favorite part was the baptismal font and he loves to tell how his brother thought it was a swimming pool and tried to get in. I think Malcom's favorite part was eating eclairs on the grass outside afterward-- he prefers a view with Angel Moroni anyway.

Monday we had a cookout at the Morley's followed by a visit to Nanny Janny's grave. The balloon tradition is a favorite. We wrote our messages and sent them up!
Dear Mom,
Write back soon.
Love,
Shayna

Big Day

Wednesday was Asher's Spring Program at school and his last baseball game of the season.
He recited his part loud and clear and with the best southern accent imaginable. His was the first voice I heard singing as the kids marched into the room.

He referred to this final game as "the championship" and was thrilled to get a twinkie along with his trophy.

Asher enjoys taking pictures of himself looking like this

Malcom prefers a variety of footwear, but no clothes

Twinners

When Chiara dropped off Marley today in her pink stripes, I couldn't resist. I raced to Violet's closet and got her matching (not to mention way too small) blue striped dress and started snapping away. Don't they make a gorgeous pair?
