Christmas Break

Alas, the holidays are over and its back to reality. With Asher's first day back to school and Kevin going back to work, I wont lie, I was a little down in the dumps today. We sure had a fabulous vacation, though:

Christmas Eve we spent with Kevin's family joining us for the traditional fried turkey and viewing of White Christmas. As an added treat Kinsey showed up for a Christmas Eve sleepover. We wrapped presents and watched Christmas Vacation into the wee hours of the morning.






My family came over on Christmas and stayed all day due to the terrible snow storm. It was one cozy Christmas. Excellent fun.

The next few days were filled with

family gatherings


sleepovers

and late night fun


New Years Eve we spent the night at a cabin with the Nelson family. We had a blast ringing in the new year with fondu and sledding!






The last big event that took place just yesterday was Violet's blessing. She was a perfect angel during the whole prayer.
