For mine and Asher's birthdays, Kevin's parents took our little family on a special outing to ride the Polar Express. It was so much fun... talk about getting in the Christmas spirit! We ate cookies, had hot chocolate, sang Christmas songs, and met santa and mrs. claus while winding through a snowy Provo Canyon. A conductor punched our tickets, elves asked what we wanted for Christmas, and each child got a bell from Santa's sleigh. My favorite part was reading the story as we rode - so magical. The Heber Valley Railroad really did a marvelous job recreating the whole thing. Thanks grandpa Ralph and grandma Tish for all the fun!

Okay, how fun is that??!! My girls LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, the Polar Express. They'll be so jealous to know that your boys went to see the Polar Express train and to actually sit in there with p.j.'s on and have hot chocolate. Wow. The boys looked like they had sooooo much fun. What a great idea!!
Ben watches this movie over and over and we listen to the soundtrack over and over again in the car. I think next year we will definately have to take the boys up to ride it. He loves playing "ticket" guy with me. He finds a piece of paper and gets our 3 hole punch!!
What a fun adventure! I love the boys in their PJ's! Too bad Mrs. Claus wasn't such a big hit....her cookies sure look good!
