Yesterday was Asher's school program. I didn't think that watching my preschooler sing some songs with his classmates would really get to me. I expected to be amused. But the minute they walked in, hand in hand, singing You Are My Sunshine, I about lost it. He was partnered with the love of his life, Kayla, for the dance portion and they were quite the duo. My absolute favorite song was The Red Red Robin. He sang it to me once while we were walking through Target and it was the most tender thing I've ever heard. They closed with The Rainbow Connection coupled with the sign language-- come on folks! I fought with all my might to remain composed. So here we are at the end of the year, and next year I'll have a kindergartener. What the?!

Ha ha ha ha ha!!!! Too cute. I don't believe it! What the... is right!
Soooo...that is the infamous Kayla! She IS adorable. At least he had good taste.
Can I just say how I love that they danced with a partner too. That is too dear. I totally know how you feel though. Rylee's open house is on Monday. I'll let you know how I do. I'm all ready a little emotional as it is. Seeing my child up there will make me weep too.
And Kayla and Asher make a darling little couple. I love how she got all dressed up for the special occasion.
Asher all ready looks like he should be in 3rd grade! He's going to be a pro in kindergarten.
Way too cute! He's such a little man! Try having a child turning EIGHT this year....now if that thought doesn't make you weep I don't know what will!! I hate it!
Sounds like such a cute program. I'm sure I would have teared up too. I have one more year until I have to freak out about having a kindergartener!
I LOVE THAT BOY!
Oh Shayna how sweet! Crazy how time flies. hope all is well! p.s. I still need to come get my bloody container....
