malcom vs. the alpaca

its a match! (said like the lady on SNL who plays the Target cashier)

On Sunday we had a barbeque at the Morley's and then headed over to the cemetery to visit Nanny Janny's grave. Although it's tradition to look nice when visiting the dead, my children look like mongrels since they'd spent the previous 3 hours romping in Cambry's backyard in the dirt and spilling food on themselves, so pardon our appearances.
malcom on my mom's headstone watching mulan. probably sacrilegious, not to mention a perverse parenting technique, but it was all we could do to keep him from snatching flags, flowers, and balloons from all the other headstones.

posterity. since she's passed, my mother has acquired grandchildren! (4 to be exact)

asher and the balloons. our tradition as of a year ago is to write messages to nanny janny and let the balloons deliver them. however, our balloons were totally dead a mere 10 hours after i got them (i was supposed to request "high float" i guess) so instead we wrote messages and tacked them to the grave site. asher took this very seriously. he drew pictures of things he's learned she liked... camels, babies, cookies, piano, the temple and then wrote the following messages: i luve you. ples cum bac soon. i wont to see you. *sidenote: asher has been praying a lot lately requesting that she be resurrected immediately, so keep your eyes peeled:)

As for today, the actual holiday, we did squat....just hangin around, nothing to do but frown, rainy days and Mondays always get me down. But, for real we ate cookie dough at Cambry's and played Wii.
